The Lagoon
Laugarás Lagoon has a two-level lagoon designed around the idea of harmony between people and their surroundings. Whether it is a quiet moment with loved ones or time with friends, Laugarás Lagoon is the perfect retreat from the bustle of everyday life – in the embrace of nature.
A powerful waterfall
Laugarás Lagoon boasts a waterfall – the first of its kind among Iceland's lagoons. Almost seven metres wide, it falls powerfully, letting guests enjoy its beauty while being reminded that water is an integral part of Iceland's dramatic nature.
A quiet cave
In our cave you will find a cosy shelter, comfortable seating and an experience like no other.
The saunas
After time in the lagoon, step into the warmth of our dry sauna or steam bath at the edge of the woods. Here the warmth meets sweeping views over the banks of the Hvítá river and the surrounding landscape, offering a quiet moment to slow down.
The cold pool
Next to the saunas is the cold pool, which completes the effect of the heat and resets body and senses.
Forest pool
Relax in the forest pool and enjoy the warmth and softness of the water in the middle of the woods.
The infinity edge
Relax at the infinity edge and take in the spectacular natural beauty all around you.
The lagoon bars
Two swim-up bars serve drinks while you relax in the warm, soothing water. Two of our admission options, Lerki and Ösp, include one drink of your choice.

We offer three types of reservation tiers, all of which include unlimited access to the lagoon. The Lerki tier adds a complimentary drink and towel service while the Ösp package includes a 2-course meal at Ylja restaurant.
