The Story Behind Our Name
We are proud to be a part of the village of Laugarás, named after the Icelandic word ‘Laug’ meaning ‘bath’ or ‘hot spring,’ referring to the natural geothermal activity in the area.
Rooted in Laugarás
Our commitment to the community of Laugaras goes beyond geothermal activity. We provide economic support through job creation, sourcing ingredients from neighboring farms, greenhouses and fisheries, support local artists through on-site commissions and are planning future developments.
