The taste of nature
At Ylja restaurant, Gísli Matthías Auðunsson and his team create a menu built on fresh, local ingredients from farmers, greenhouses and producers in South Iceland. Icelandic culinary traditions meet modern cooking techniques in a memorable dining experience.
Guests can book a table at Ylja or choose Ösp, an experience package that includes access to Laugarás Lagoon and a two-course meal from the day menu.

Let nature embrace you
Rjóður is the Laugarás Lagoon skincare line, inspired by a small woodland grove by the lagoon. Scents of birch, larch and other Icelandic herbs reflect the nature around Laugarás and make daily skincare part of the whole experience. The products are in the changing rooms and showers and can also be bought at reception.
